ALPA will be part of this years CGIC, the International CGI Congress in Münster/Osnabrück in Germany.

Location: AIRPORT Münster/Osnabrück
Date: 14 to 15 June 2018

CGIC 2018 will be held at Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO) on 14 and 15 June 2018. CGIC, formerly ICGIW, is a combination of a trade fair, convention, networking and an award.

CGIC is uniquely interdisciplinary. As well as all traditional disciplines of CGI technology, it covers a new range of areas, such as VR, AR, photography, light engineering, laser technology, photogrammetry, drones, CGI engineering, video, internet, 3D printing and CNC technology, giving decision-makers in the industry an ideal basis to determine the future directions of their companies. Moreover, a range of talks will be given where leading companies, manufacturers and agencies will present details of their latest innovative contract work, products and projects to a broad professional audience.

CGIC 2018 will be held as an exclusive event at Münster/Osnabrück Airport (FMO), GATE A, and in CONFERENCE AREAS 3 and 4, directly above GATE A. With daily flights from Frankfurt, Stuttgart and Munich, CGIC can easily and directly be reached by national and international visitors, as well as being inexpensive and quick (e.g. Frankfurt – FMO in 50 minutes, Munich – FMO in 60 minutes).

Technical Cameras and CGI

"Manufacturers of high-end image instruments" is the claim of the Swiss high-end camera manufacturer ALPA, which has been supplying professionals and ambitious amateurs with powerful tools for the realization of their projects from Zurich for more than 20 years. The systems are primarily used in landscape, architectural and automotive photography, but they also open exciting perspectives in the field of CGI:

Thus, ALPA's technical cameras not only enable the inclusion of "backplates" with the superior sharpness, the differentiated colour rendering and the outstanding dynamic range that is inherent in medium-format systems currently with 100MP. Even 360 ° panoramas can be created with a few single shots showing incredible detail. Due to the extremely modular structure of the overall system and the many possibilities for adapting third-party accessories, ALPA's portfolio offers the right solution for almost any photographic challenge, from the photogrammetry of large objects, through ultra-close-up photography, to 4K film at 60mm sensor format.

Ralph Rosenbauer (Head of R & D ALPA) will characterize the full collection of the ALPA camera system in his presentation at the CGCIC 2018, before Alexander Sauer (Scanderbeg and Sauer, Munich & Zurich) exemplifies some of the application fields of the ALPA system in the field of CGI.
