Delahaye, Luc
Luc Delahaye (French, born 1962) - Luc Delahaye's photographs are made where newspapers report on eveyday: war zones, areas of conflicts, official assemblies and places where social and political issues are at play. Inspired by a documentary approach to photography, his large-scale color works urges a reflection about the relationship between art, history and information. The head-on nature of his photographs, the detachment and the rich details that emerge from them contradicts and enhances their dramatic intensity and narrative power.
